Does Alimony Stop When You Remarry?
Unless specified in another agreement or during the divorce, in Arizona, alimony payments terminate when the spouse receiving the spousal maintenance remarries.
However, if the spouse that is required to pay spousal support remarries, they must continue providing alimony to their former spouse.
Does a Prenup Protect You From Alimony?
